I am looking forward to presenting to Drama educators at the 2022 Drama Qld State Conference. My session is based on a Junior Drama program I designed which I co-taught with classroom teachers. It essentially guides young performers through 4 stages : Imagination, Improvisation, Dramatisation and Presentation....and lots of links to cognitive verbs and cognitive processes. This model was devised, delivered and refined over a year of Arts rotations and worked with great efficacy in building competent and committed young actors.
