What a wonderful week in Sydney teaching imrpo & cognition at the UNSW GERRIC program. The reactions and feedback from students (and parents at the final day showcase) was excellent. I was fortunate to have 3 amazing undergrad' and postgrad' student assistants from Education and Psychology courses. One of my previous student assistants is now running her own program at GERRIC and using some of the impro techniques I showed her in previous years. Great to see ideas being reused and re-contextualised to help extend the giftedn & talented students in the GERRIC program. I also showed the QCAA cognitive verbs website to parents and highlighted how much easier and far more comprehensive it was compared to what I could find on NSW Ed' sites.
