Speaking to speech pathologists

  • 1 min read

Exciting news - ImpcoCOG has been invited by Australian Catholic University to become a community partner for a 3rd year speech pathology subject (SPY310). This work will require small groups of students on the North Sydney and Brisbane campuses researching communication issues which affect Gen Z students (particularly when on placement or in role play simulation). Students will also look at the current literature and research around the interaction of improvising and health care. Finally, students will participate in an ImproCOG workshop and reflect on how improvising techniques can be applied to health contexts to improve communication and alignment with client-centred care philosophy.
